What do you think about the jokes going around about the recently passed croc hunter?

I have heard 2 jokes so far bout the croc hunters death and being from Aus and the jokes coming from here are just disrespectful not just to the dead (R.I.P) but to his family and friends that are still grieving.

Public Comments

  1. I agree - pack of disrespectful wankers
  2. I know - it was roughly 2 hours after he died I heard the first one. I know our fellow aussies like a joke but this is just wrong.
  3. I dont know, thats sad that hes dead he was awsome and he really liked the animals
  4. WOW that's it definitely not right...who was that person?
  5. I think they're in really bad taste. And the people telling them should be ashamed of themselves.
  6. Ignore the jokesters as they are among the lowest form of life there is. It's usually people desperate for attention.
  7. SICK. just remember not all are mature enough to deal with death the way the average human does. RIP steve erwin.
  8. it's so awful. they can't let the guy be dead for even a day before people start insulting him!?! he was an awesome guy who brought entertainment to a lot of people. no reason to dishonor him immediately after his death
  9. i haven't heard any jokes about him yet....but that's disrespectful
  10. I haven't heard any jokes, but if there is, it is really bad taste. He brought alot of enjoyment for many people, and to make jokes about his dead? I guess if people have nothing to do and got a blank head, what do you expect.
  11. the morning show from the local radio station did the same thing just hours after curt cobain shot himself. and i have heard it donr to several people since then. it really takes a sorry s.o.b. to do some stuff like that
  12. i think thats very disrepectful and its nothing to joke about this man has a family that deserves respect not jokes
  13. Some people have no respect for other people's feelings. I haven't heard any, and hope I don't either. May he rest in peace
  14. I think different people deal with death differently and for some people maybe the joking is a way to make light of something that deep down frightens them. Than again maybe I'm giving them too much credit and they're just goofy jerks who don't have the respect that they should for someone who really seemed so vital and who seemed to enjoy life a great deal and brought a lot of pleasure to so many many people. Steve Irwin will be missed.
  15. its wrong! i think he waz a brave man who waznt afriad of any thing and thats more than most people can say about them selves! making fun of a dead person is wrong too! it could happen to any one! no one will live forever and when they die im sure they wouldnt want anyone making fun of them!
  16. I think you should understand some people show respect in different ways, Steve as a person would be the one creating the jokes, to make jokes about Steve is to really celebrate a life and I think its a healthy way to deal with the passing of a man that created so many smiles in homes all over the world.
  17. I think the comments, jokes etc.. are very distastful and disrespectful. Whoever is making these jokes is totally ignorant! How would these people feel if they had lost someone close?? a family memeber or best friend if had they passed away? Would they still be joking about it? Time comes in to everyones life when we have to except and deal with the loss of life of someone who we are close to, just please show some respect for others, especially in there time of grieving, even if you didnt know them. We are human beings that God brought into this world and eventually we return to when our time comes. R.I.P. Steve Irwin
  18. why don't you post them here so we can all have a good laugh?
  19. If your got jokes y dont u post them so we can judge ?? I think it very selfish not to tell everyone.
